Photography is my hobby, it's the thing I do to unwind and to relax. I enjoy taking photos (capturing images as some now say) and mucking about with cameras, glass and fiddling with software.
Photography to the amateur is recreation, to the professional it is work, and hard work too, no matter how pleasurable it my be.
Although photography is a hobby, I was lucky enough to have a certain amount of training, thanks to a BSc in Photographic and Electronic Imaging Science with a certain amount of real photography thanks to a module imaginatively named Photo-C.

Because photography is a hobby, getting paid takes the fun out of it. But that hasn't stopped me from taking pictures for worthy causes. So, if you're family, friend, or a local non-profit that has a project you think I might be able to help with, feel free to get in touch.

In any case, feel free to look around, feedback always appreciated.
