WITH THE ADDITIONAL PRECIPITATION RECEIVED OVERNIGHT...NOVEMBER 2006 HAS NOW SURPASSED DECEMBER 1933 AS OFFICIALLY THE WETTEST MONTH RECORDED IN THE SEATTLE AREA SINCE 1891. AS OF MIDNIGHT LOCAL TIME...THE MONTHLY PRECIPITATION TOTAL AT SEA-TAC AIRPORT STOOD AT 15.59 INCHES WHICH ECLIPSED THE PREVIOUS SEATTLE AREA RECORD OF 15.33 INCHES RECORDED AT THE FEDERAL BUILDING DOWNTOWN IN DECEMBER 1933. ...RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE SET AT SEATTLE-TACOMA AIRPORT... A RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE OF 18 DEGREES WAS SET AT SEATTLE-TACOMA AIRPORT YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 22 SET IN 1975.
